Step by step

    Clinch up

    Control the head and an arm at close range.

    Step in & reap

    Break their balance backward, step your lead foot beside theirs and swing your rear leg behind their leg to reap it out.

    Drive through & finish

    Turn the corner, drive your weight through them and come up in top position.

Key details

  • Break their balance onto the heel before you reap.
  • Drive the head and chest forward as the leg sweeps back.
  • Reap with the back of the thigh, not just the foot.
