Deleting Your Account

This is the fastest way and it takes effect straight away.

1. 01Open DARCE and make sure you are signed in.
2. 02Tap your avatar in the top left of the Home screen to open your Profile.
3. 03Tap Settings.
4. 04Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
5. 05Confirm twice. The second prompt is the last chance to stop.

You do not need to reinstall. Email privacy@darce.app from the email address on your DARCE account and ask us to delete it.

We will reply to confirm we have received the request, verify that the address matches an account, and then delete it. We complete deletion requests within 30 days of verifying them, and in practice much sooner.

We may need to ask one or two questions to confirm the account is yours. This protects you: we will not delete an account on the word of someone who cannot show they own it.

Everything below is erased from our systems, not hidden or deactivated. Your account closes the moment you confirm; the removal itself completes within 30 days. That window is not a change of mind period and there is no way to reverse it. It exists because purging every copy, including the backups our database keeps, is not instantaneous, and we would rather say so than claim a speed we cannot prove.

• Your account and sign-in credentials.
• Your profile, including your name, photo, gym, location and any stats you entered.
• Your full training history: sessions, rolls, mat time, streaks, badges and progress.
• Every video you uploaded, and every photo attached to a session.
• Every AI breakdown generated from your footage, including the events, timelines and scores derived from it.
• Your Fighter IQ, Fighter Match results and anything else calculated from your training record.
• Your membership of a community room, and any analysis you shared into one.
• Your position on any leaderboard.

This reaches beyond our own database. Deleting your account also erases you from the analytics and subscription services that run parts of DARCE for us. That happens automatically as part of the same request; you do not need to ask for it separately.

Deleting your account does not delete the room or remove anyone else from it. Before your data is erased, the room is handed to its longest-standing member. If there is nobody left to hand it to, the room is frozen rather than deleted, so the remaining history is not lost for other members.

Anything you personally shared into the room is removed with the rest of your data.

This one catches people out. If you subscribed to a paid plan, that subscription is billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Deleting your DARCE account does not cancel it and does not stop it renewing.

• On iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then cancel DARCE.
• On Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, tap Payments and subscriptions, then cancel DARCE.

Cancel the subscription first, then delete the account. Refunds for any unused period are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us.

We aim to remove everything, and that includes the third parties that run parts of the Service for us. One narrow exception is worth stating plainly rather than leaving you to assume.

Records the law requires us to keep. If you made a purchase, we may be required to retain a transaction record for tax and accounting purposes. We keep only that record, for only as long as the law requires, and we do not use it for anything else.

Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer be linked back to you may be retained. It cannot identify you and is not restored if you sign up again.

Deleting your account is the strongest option and it is not always the one you want. Depending on what is bothering you, there may be a narrower fix.

• You can pause your account. You disappear from the leaderboard, gym walls and public profiles, notifications stop, and your streak freezes instead of breaking. Nothing is deleted and one tap brings it back.
• You can turn off the setting that allows your footage to help improve our AI. It is off by default and can be switched back at any time in Settings.
• You can leave a community room without deleting your account.
• You can delete an individual training session from your history and keep everything else.
• You can delete the video attached to an analysis and keep the written breakdown.
• You can cancel a paid plan and keep using the free tier. Your training history stays exactly where it is.
