    Control a tie

    Secure a wrist and collar tie to set up the level change.

    Drop and load

    Pull their arm forward, drop to a knee and shoot the other arm between their legs so their weight loads across your shoulders.

    Drive through & finish

    Turn the corner, drive your weight through them and come up in top position.

Key details

  • Pull the arm across so they cannot post and stop the entry.
  • Drop your level under their hips before lifting.
  • Turn your head and roll them across your shoulders, not straight back.

Common mistakes

  • Loading them too high on the back instead of the shoulders.
  • Keeping the hips too high to get under them.
  • Letting go of the arm and giving them a base.
