Step by step

Establish mount
Stay high and heavy in mount.
- 02
Feed the grips
Thread both hands deep into opposite collars, thumbs in, palms up.
- 03
Drop your weight & finish
Pull the elbows down and to the mat and drop your chest to close the choke on both sides of the neck.
Key details
- Get the first grip deep behind the neck before the second.
- Pull the elbows down and out, dropping chest weight forward.
- Keep your base wide so you are not rolled while choking.
Common mistakes
