Stand and drive the opponent’s knees toward their face, then slide around the stacked legs to pass. Also known as the Stack or the Double-leg stack. Here is the exact breakdown from the DARCE app: 3 steps, the details that make it work, and the mistakes to avoid.
Step by step
- 01
Posture & stand
Posture up inside their guard and stand or come to your toes, hands controlling the hips.
- 02
Drive the stack
Drive forward folding their knees toward their own face so their weight loads onto their upper back.
- 03
Settle into side control
Clear the legs, drop your chest onto theirs and lock side control with a cross-face and underhook.
Key details
- Drive forward and down so their hips fold over their head.
- Keep your head up and back straight as you stack.
- Slide your hips around the legs once their base is broken.
Common mistakes
